When Should I Receive an Interest Rate Adjustment Notice?
Updated 7 days ago (March 6, 2026)
It depends on which type of interest rate adjustment notice you are expecting to receive.
- The initial interest rate adjustment notice: at least 210 days, but no more than 240 days, before the first adjusted payment is due.
Tellus TIP:
If the first adjusted payment is due within 210 days after consummation, servicers must send you notice at the moment of consummation.
- The ongoing interest rate adjustment notice: at least 60 days, but no more than 120 days, before the first adjusted payment is due.
